Smalti Australia

Setting up with my lovely helpers. Symposium starting soon!

We were so busy with getting ready for the Symposium and packing up lots of orders, that Luke went to the post office to drop them off, not realising that it is a public holiday in SA today! So will be shipped tomorrow 😄

Smalti Australia and Mosaic Bazaar will be at the symposium in Brisbane next week. We will have a stall at the vendor market place which will be open to symposium participants from Thursday onwards, but for anyone who is not registered for the symposium, you will have the opportunity to come and purchase goodies at our stall and other lovely stalls on Saturday and Sunday. We will also do a couple of free demonstrations; so if you want to learn more about Smalti, how to cut it, what to use Filati for, etc... we would love to see you there. Have a look at the timetables and more information below.
Also, there are still a few spots available, so if you are keen, go to the MAANZ site and register for it, it will be an experience of a life time.

Spring is truly in the air! In our backyard we have these enormously bright orange flowers, they truly look like this. They would make a fabulous mosaic with their orange petals and sunny yellow centres. All you would need are some blends and some orange colours.

Well, here go our boxes to the MAANZ Symposium in Brisbane! 📦🚚

Mosaic Bazaar and Smalti Australia have been to many symposiums over the years, and until now we have always been able to load the car to the brim with Smalti and drive there ourselves. We even made it to Tasmania on the overnight ferry, and Canberra was a loooong drive!

But Brisbane is just a tad too far from South Australia, so this time our Smalti is travelling by freight. And, as always, we will probably have far too much with us… haha! 😄

And don’t forget that even if you are not attending the symposium, you can still come along to the Vendor Marketplace and shop to your heart’s content. We would love to see you!

It’s getting close now… Brisbane, here we come!

I’m so blessed to have won such a wonderful prize.
Thank you to all who were hardworking participants of the show and many thanks to Smalti Australia’s Beate and Luke for being so generous.

Fallen Petals!
Fallen Petals are great for making flowers, leaves, feathers, wings, scales and all sorts of flowing, organic mosaic designs.
