Depth is not the most important number in microneedling. I get asked about it a lot “how deep do you go?” as if a bigger number automatically means a better result.
What actually matters is the clinical endpoint: the skin’s visible response during treatment, which tells me it’s had the right amount of stimulation for that session. That’s different for everyone, and it can even change from one treatment to the next.
Chasing depth without watching for that endpoint just adds unnecessary trauma, not better results. So when I’m treating you, I’m watching your skin, not a number.

Post-treatment skin looks a little different depending on what it’s healing from.
After AuraLux, expect some warmth and redness for a few hours, almost like mild sunburn. This is the laser doing its job — stimulating collagen underneath the surface.
After Dermapen 4, your skin may look flushed and feel tight for a day or so. Those micro-channels are opening the door for deeper product absorption and new collagen production.
Both are part of the process, not something to worry about. Give your skin the days it needs to do the work.
Post-treatment aftercare:
• No direct sun exposure
• No sauna and steam room
• No swimming pools or spas
• No makeup
• No active skincare (retinol, AHAs/BHAs, vitamin C)
• No touching or picking at the skin
• Physical SPF

That pigmentation didn’t just show up — it’s been building for months.
UV exposure sits beneath the skin before it ever surfaces, which is why what you’re noticing now often traces back to last summer.
For pigmentation like this, I would usually build a treatment plan incorporating multiple modalities such as Lira Smart Peels, Bio Microneedling, Hydrafacial with Britenol Booster & Auralux Renew.
If you are a pigmentation-prone client, your non-negotiable skincare would be daily SPF rain, hail or shine, a pigment inhibitor such as Lira Pro Lite & Pro Brite, and a Lira retinol formulation and dosage suited specifically for your skin.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate these results - only 5 days post treatment of my clients 1st Auralux 3DMIRACL treatment.
