This might be one of my favourites.

A full head of lowlights using a reverse balayage to bring some depth and dimension back, helping Sarah Jane feel a little more like her brunette self again 🤎

I added some soft, burnt caramel tones to break up Tess’s base and bring in a little extra dimension, warmth and movement, complimented by a layered haircut to bring it all together.

There’s a lot of talk about low-maintenance hair, but low maintenance doesn’t mean doing nothing. Even the most lived-in colour needs a little upkeep, and healthy long hair still needs regular trims.

I’ve put together a few of the things I find myself saying to clients all the time. Toners need refreshing every 8–10 weeks, and cuts every 8–14 weeks depending on whether you’re maintaining your length or growing it.

The big brands often have great sales on their styling tools, and IMO, the investment outweighs the damage. And yes, you do need heat protection every time heat hits your hair.

Working with greys on brunette hair 🤎

Grey regrowth can be a little more obvious against a darker base, so the goal isn’t always about covering every single grey.

Depending on how much coverage you want, we can work with your natural colour, soften the contrast and create a result that grows out a little more gently.
