Aside from Ben, we have had the most brilliant women passionately driving the brand from the start- all with the same love for Holme & its impact on our customers.

This weekend of pause was a big mirror for me. Social media is a wonderful place when it comes to building a community aka you, lately it really hasn’t been great for my mental health.

I feel more than ever social media has become super toxic. The constant bombardment of everything and the way it’s designed to keep us hooked, I don’t feel like I’m managing me within it well.

I will be connecting with you via the Holme Blog, when the girls pop me up on Holme Beauty socials & in all the ways Holme Beauty shows up relentlessly to remind you that your worthy of being seen.

I’m off to work hard at what’s coming for Holme (read: some really incredible things!!) and also ensure my head & heart are strong to support such big moments.

So many things happening but then also, nothing at all. Slow, conscious & grounded amongst the chaos.

I have been working my newly perky toosh off in a big way this year. Some strategically, but mostly reactively.

I’ve been learning the delicate balance of scaling, amongst maintaining; thriving whilst surviving & learning amongst failing.

Should I have taken on investment earlier to prevent this pressure? Long term I will be thankful I didn’t, but for the past 18 months it’s been fu***ng stressful and I grapple at the idea of maybe I should have.

But I’m not one to be beaten down, or sit in the s**t. So quietly for the past 6 months, without public visibility I have been stretching, learning, building, hustling & grinding. I know people don’t like to use the world hustle or grind anymore but fu***ng oath that’s what I have been doing.

But the seeds have been sown, the business has been getting cleaned up and audited. I have been working hard with people that really give value to the investment into them & listening consciously to ensure I don’t make any mistake twice.

Hilary & Holme has hustled. Has it been perfect? F**K NO. Has it been out of alignment? In moments, sure. But has my belief in either wavered? Never. I believe I can do what this business is asking of me. And I believe in what this business is doing for others.

In a year full of contrasts I feel, whilst so much of what we are doing right now reactively, there is so much coming which finally brings Holme to a centred & strategic place.

But just in this moment, this exhilarating, present & real moment are we launching Burst in the middle of a sale because it arrived early and we felt it needed to be shared the moment it did? We sure did.

Here’s to you, if you feel all of the contrasts- failing/falling/succeeding/rising. I see you, and you are doing the thing. If you heart burns for doing it and the passion feels strong- then you keep doing the thing and never give up.
