Blue Lotus has a long history of being shared in community 💙
In ancient Egypt, Blue Lotus was often depicted at banquets, celebrations and gatherings, alongside music, dancing, food and wine.
People were shown holding the flowers, smelling them, wearing them and offering them to one another.
She was associated with pleasure, sensuality, relaxation and connection, and some evidence suggests she may have been used for her mildly euphoric effects.
And perhaps that’s part of what makes her so beautiful to share.
Whether gathered in circle, with friends, with a partner or even amongst strangers, Blue Lotus can invite a little more softness, presence and openness into the space between us 🪷
