Hi, I'm Tanya 👋

Owner of Makeup Artist Tanya Golden.

I've been working in the beauty industry for over 19 years and am a qualified Makeup Artist, Accredited Hairstylist and Cert IV Beauty Therapist, specialising in bridal, formal and special occasion makeup & hairstyling.

My journey started at 17 years old as a Revlon Counter Manager before going on to work with Napoleon Perdis, Clinique and other beauty sections in pharmacy. I later trained in hairstyling through Stefans, expanding my skills to offer both hair and makeup services.

I'm a bit of a course lover and have completed countless courses, workshops and advanced training over the years because I genuinely love learning new techniques and refining my craft ✨

When I'm not in the studio, you'll usually find me drinking iced coffee, spending time with my family, replying to emails, adding another cactus to my collection 🌵 or cuddling one of my three dogs 🐺🐾

My goal has always been to create a relaxed, welcoming experience where you feel comfortable, confident and still like yourself when you leave the chair. Whether it's your wedding day, formal or a special event, I want you to feel like the very best version of you 🤍

Fun fact: As a makeup artist, I don't actually wear a full face of makeup every day 😂 I definitely did back in my makeup counter days, but these days my unofficial uniform is black jeans, a black top, my hair down and an iced coffee within arm's reach 🧋🖤

21 years annoying each other 🤍

5 years married at the beautiful Branell Homestead.

I always tell my brides that we did everything backwards... we had the babies, bought the house, built my business studio, and then finally got married last 😂

Somehow, after 21 years, he's still my favourite person to annoy and renovate with 🔨.

We even got cutesy matching ring finger tattoos because apparently wedding bands weren't enough 💍😂
