I gained a Diploma of Makeup through Brisbane's Napoleon Perdis Makeup Academy where I began my year long intensive full-time training in 2006. With now over 10 years of experience as a professional Makeup Artist, I have had many high achievements in my career which include a number of celebrities, film & television, high end fashion shows and photoshoots, and have had my work featured in magazines. I even got to take it overseas to London where I spent time managing a Hair & Beauty Salon and worked as a Makeup Artist in the largest national beauty and wedding industry expos in the United Kingdom. During my time in London, I also proudly worked for The Walt Disney Company and was even offered an amazing and highly sought-after Makeup Artist role in Florida, USA onboard one of their Disney Cruise Line vessels based cruising throughout the Caribbean. Most recently I was based in the heart of the picturesque Whitsundays in Queensland, Australia, where I was booked for regular contract work as a Photographer for destination weddings and events of all sizes. As well as this, I got to do loads of fun photography for Reef Safari Diving & Photography on the Cruise Whitsundays boats which go out to explore the world famous Great Barrier Reef and Whitehaven Beach. I can quite confidently say that there's nothing I'd rather be doing in my life than creating beautiful images that can be treasured for years to come and making people feel special!

For two souls who never seek the spotlight (and avoided photos as much possible 😂), we sure managed to capture some absolutely beautiful memories of their special day.
It was such a pleasure to do makeup and photography for this genuinely lovely couple. They were possibly the most relaxed bride and groom ever and their adoration for each other is so heartwarming to witness.

Doing formal makeup and photos for the children of people I went to school with always makes me feel a million years old 😅😂 but it’s so lovely to see how they’ve grown from a cute little girl picking flowers for me into a beautiful young woman full of confidence about to head out into the big wide world 💙 it was such a pleasure, Mia 🌸

Just a small selection of my faves from this formal photoshoot at Netty & Peter Smith’s gorgeous home on Saturday… 😍 I’m so obsessed with the moody indoor lighting in the trophy room, as well as the vibrant colours of their magical garden. And that was just the backdrop! Issy and Henry (dear friends from birth) were the perfect young models and such a pleasure to capture - I could have stayed here taking photos all day!
