A proud moment for Di and the team at Echuca Skin & Health Group 🥹

Di was recently acknowledged by a Mohs plastic surgeon for recognising and referring a morphoeic BCC — a skin cancer that can be particularly difficult to identify clinically.

The surgeon specifically recognised the importance of Di picking up the lesion when she did. The client was incredibly appreciative, as she was advised that if it had been left to progress, much more extensive surgery and reconstruction may have been required.

It’s a meaningful acknowledgement of the experience and careful attention that goes into every skin check.

A gentle reminder: not all skin cancers look obvious. Regular skin checks can help identify subtle changes early, when treatment may be less extensive. 🩵

Meet the team ✨

This is Dr Pri!

Our accredited skin cancer doctor - working alongside Di, our experienced Dermoscopist.

Di brings extensive experience in skin, dermoscopy, advanced imaging, including FotoFinder technology, while Dr Pri brings his medical and surgical expertise as FRACGP, and accredited skin cancer doctor with the skin cancer college of Australasia. He has advanced qualifications and experience in skin cancer medicine, dermoscopy and skin cancer surgery, including biopsies, excisions and more complex surgical procedures when required.

Together, they provide a comprehensive approach to skin cancer care, from prevention and early detection through to diagnosis, treatment, surgery and ongoing follow up.

But for us, great skin cancer care doesn’t stop once a lesion has been treated. Long-term management of our patients is key to achieving the best ongoing outcomes - monitoring changes, reviewing previous areas of concern and maintaining regular skin checks over time.

The continuity of care is something we’re incredibly passionate about.

We’re proud to offer this level of collaborative skin cancer care to our community, right here in Echuca.
