As we age, our lips can gradually lose some of their natural colour and definition. The border can become softer, the tone a little more muted, and the lips can appear less defined than they once did.

Not every tattoo removal journey is straightforward.

This beautiful client came to me after multiple laser removal sessions elsewhere. Although a significant amount of pigment had faded on the surface, there was still a large amount of stubborn pigment remaining deeper within the skin. More concerning was the condition of the tissue itself.

The skin over the tattoo had become noticeably thickened and firm. While it’s difficult to fully appreciate in photos, the texture change was significant and was preventing the remaining pigment from clearing effectively.

Rather than focusing solely on removing pigment, our treatment plan needed to prioritise restoring the health of the skin.

Using my specialised glycolic tattoo removal technique combined with collagen induction, we’ve been able to:

✨ Break down thickened, fibrotic tissue.
✨ Encourage healthier collagen remodelling.
✨ Improve the overall texture and flexibility of the skin.
✨ Continue lifting stubborn pigment that had become increasingly difficult to remove.
