My private Canberra studio also means easy parking close by, so afterwards you can head straight to your car and let your tan develop.

August was 12 months in the making 💕

A year ago, I made the conscious decision to recommit to Beautique Smiles—and to myself—with clear intention. August felt like the month I could finally see what those choices have been building.

I walked into Beauty Expo feeling connected to my industry, met my business coach and BBS BBF in real life, welcomed 10 new clients and two beautiful familiar faces back into the studio, while continuing to care for the regular clients I absolutely adore.

I pampered, treated and cared for seven beautiful clients through personalised facials, helped a wedding party prepare for their big day and welcomed the winner of the Mother’s Day facial I donated to Duntroon Community Centre. She brought her little bubba along, and watching them share such a special moment together in the studio was beautiful.

I continued learning, refining and investing in my craft. I have found a support network that believes in me and inspires me everyday and I will forever be grateful for these golden stars in my world ✨

My final week of August surpassed what a good month once looked like…. and it came with ease.

But the greatest milestone wasn’t a number. Or monetary. It was recognising how much has changed within me over the past 365+ days.

I did this for myself first, but also to show my boys what dedication and integrity look like. What it means to love yourself enough to keep growing and to build a life you genuinely love.

I’m not at the end of the rainbow yet, but I’m finding my way back home! And August reminded me just how far I’ve come.
