❓ What is vacuum cupping?
Vacuum cupping uses special cups to gently lift the skin and superficial tissues using suction.

❓ What does cupping massage do?
It may help increase local blood flow, loosen tight muscles and fascia, reduce muscle tension and stiffness, and promote relaxation.

❓ Why does it leave round red or purple marks?
The suction affects small blood vessels near the surface of the skin, creating temporary marks. They usually fade over several days.

❓ Does cupping remove toxins?
No. There isn't good evidence that cupping removes toxins from the body. Its potential benefits are more related to tissue stimulation, circulation, and short-term changes in pain and muscle tension.

❓ Does cupping hurt?
It should generally feel like a strong pulling or tight sensation rather than sharp pain. The therapist should adjust the suction to your comfort level.

❓ Why combine cupping with massage?
Combining the two can provide both hands-on muscle work and the lifting effect of suction, helping the treatment feel more targeted and relaxing.

I’ve just completed an 18-hour Trigger Point & Deep Tissue Massage training course in Perth.

As a massage therapist, I believe learning never stops. Every course helps me build on my knowledge and refine my techniques so I can better help clients with muscle tension, pain, restricted movement, and recovery.

It was two fantastic days of hands-on learning, and I’m excited to incorporate these advanced Trigger Point and Deep Tissue techniques into my treatments.

From 15/06/2026, clients wishing to claim a Private Health Fund rebate for Remedial Massage will need to book the "Remedial Massage with Private Health Fund Rebate" service when making their appointment to ensure their treatment is eligible for a rebate.

We’ll also be making a small adjustment to our treatment prices and introducing a selection of optional add-on services to help you personalise your treatment experience. Updated pricing and add-on options will be available when booking.
