'Soap free' doesn’t mean better for your skin.

Most 'soap free' body washes are actually detergent based cleansers made with synthetic surfactants. They can effectively remove dirt and oils, but they’re a very different proposition from a well formulated, traditionally made soap.

Handmade soap is made by combining natural oils and fats with an alkali through a process called saponification. The result is a naturally cleansing bar rich in skin loving fatty acids and glycerine, without the need for synthetic detergents.

At Windella Farm, our soaps are made on farm using milk from our own goats, natural oils and nourishing botanicals. Simple ingredients, thoughtfully made, and no detergent in sight.

What is your least favourite day of the week? I'm pretty boring / common when it comes to this one; it's MONDAY!! Even though I'm self-employed and love what I do, I always feel a bit overwhelmed / anxious on a Monday. I think it's because I have a jam-packed schedule of tasks that I want to achieve for the week & on a Monday morning I just know that I am being overly ambitious and probably expecting too much of myself. So even though I have a big To Do list, Monday's often involve a bit of pawcrastinating as I grapple with what to tackle first 😆.
