✨ A little payment update ✨

From 1st October, there will be some changes around card payment surcharges in Australia.

Rather than increasing my service prices to absorb these costs, I’d love to encourage cash or PayID payments wherever possible. 🤍

Keeping my pricing fair while continuing to provide the quality, care and experience you know and love is incredibly important to me.

I’ll be honest… charging a late cancellation fee is one of the parts of running a business that I find really difficult. 🤍

I completely understand that life happens. Kids get sick, work runs late, emergencies come up and sometimes plans simply have to change. The last thing I ever want is for a client to feel like I don’t understand that.

But I’ve also had to remind myself that an appointment isn’t just a space in my diary — it’s time that has been specifically reserved for you.

When an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled at the last minute, it’s often too late to offer that time to someone else. For a small business, those empty appointments have a very real impact — not only on the business, but on the team whose hours and income rely on a consistently booked diary.

So while I may still feel a little guilty enforcing a late cancellation fee, I know that having boundaries around our time is an important part of running a sustainable business.

Our cancellation policy is never intended as a punishment. It’s simply there to protect the time we’ve reserved for you and allow us to continue providing the level of service and care we’re so proud of.

We genuinely appreciate every client who respects our time, gives us as much notice as possible when plans change, and supports our little business. It means more than you know. 🤍
