Trade fair days are BIG. There’s the travel, the set-up, then five days on our feet, real conversations, shared inspiration, listening, learning, connecting.

By the time the doors close, we’re definitely ready to switch off.

Our Melbourne trade fair tradition?

Ramen. Spa. Sauna. Steam.

First stop, a bowl of steaming ramen at Mensho Tokyo Melbourne, then back to the apartment to relax, recover and give our very tired feet a break.

A little glimpse of what happens when the trade fair doors close and the shoes come off.

It’s not just the new collections or the beautiful stand. It’s the people.

It’s catching up with old friends, meeting new retailers, spending time with our sales team and seeing so many familiar faces across the industry.

This is what we work towards for months, finally getting to share our new collections with our wonderful retailers from all over Australia.

There’s nothing quite like seeing your reactions, hearing your feedback and catching up face-to-face with so many of you.

Today we’re celebrating someone who has been part of the Urban Rituelle family for an incredible 21 years!!!

As our Inventory Manager, Alana looks after every product that comes through our business, manages a huge amount of inventory and leads our production team with care, humour and incredible dedication.

She is always positive, always looking for solutions and is one of the rocks of our team. Her calm nature, unwavering commitment and willingness to help others make her someone we all rely on every single day.
