October is Mid of spring
This transitional period mainly impacts your body through three climatic forces: Wind, Dampness or Dryness.
1. External Wind & Temperature Perth weather in October is notorious for warm afternoons followed by sudden, cool, gusty coastal winds. Sudden drops in temperature, especially in the evening, allow external Wind-Cold or Wind-Heat to invade the body through the back of the neck and the Lungs.Health Effects: Hay fever, sudden sinus congestion, scratchy throat, headaches, and fluctuating immunity.
2. Rising Yang Energy & The Liver
In TCM, spring is the season of the Liver organ system, which rules the smooth flow of Qi (energy) and emotions. If your Liver Qi becomes stagnant or restricted, it easily transforms into "Liver Fire." You may experience Irritability, mood swings, spring fatigue, eye strain or dry eyes, and tension headaches.
The shifting weather can conflict with your digestive system (the Spleen). Cold morning air mixed with raw foods can weaken "Spleen Yang," making the body vulnerable to internal Dampness. Conversely, early warm spells can dry out Lung Yin.
3, Dryness and dampness
The mix of dryness and dampness affect body. It can cause bloating, heavy limbs, loose stools (from Dampness), or dry skin and a dry tickly cough (from Dryness)

There is some types about sleeping problems according TCM.
In Traditional Chinese medicine, night time is Yin and daytime is Yang. Night time is for the functions of resting, digesting, and sleeping. Daytime is for working, eating, and exercising.
If your Yin and yang become imbalance, it causes insomnia easily.
1, Heart and Spleen imbalance
If you have a difficulty of falling asleep, waking up frequently during the night, and vivid dreaming. It can be caused the emotions such as worry, overthinking, and anxiety, which imbalance between the Heart and Spleen organs.
2, liver
If you always wake up between 1am-3am, it can be caused by a blockage of Qi (energy) in the liver, leading to irritability, frustration, and a feeling of being emotionally stuck. Some people experience of discomfort, abdominal distention, and headaches as well.
3, Imbalance between Kidney Yin and Heart Yin
If you experience hot flashes, night sweats, dry mouth and throat, palpitations and a feeling of restlessness it can be because of imbalance between kidney and heart. Low Kidney Yin fails to rise and cool the fiery Heart.

Are you struggling with neck and shoulder pain or tightness?
According to TCM(traditional Chinese medicine), there are different reasons you may have this issue.
1, blockage of Qi(energy) and blood
The smooth flow of Qi and Blood is blocked along the main energy pathways (meridians) passing through the shoulders and neck.
2, Exposure to wind, cold and excessive dampness
• Coldness tightens muscles and tendons. Cold wind, air conditioning, coastal breezes and damp chilly weather easily cause stiffness in neck or shoulders.
• Dampness creates a heavy, dragging sensation such as sore heavy shoulders and headaches on rainy days
3, Chronic strain & poor posture (The No.1 cause for modern people)
Constant phone scrolling(text neck), desk work, ill-fitting pillows keep neck muscles tensed all day long. Over time, blood and vital energy stagnate and get blocked.
4, Late nights, poor sleep, and aging
The liver regulates tendons and muscles, the kidneys regulate bones.
Staying up late, overwork and aging weaken your physical foundation. Tendons and bones lack nourishment, losing strength and resilience over time .
5, Excess sweet, greasy and cold food
Frequent cold drinks, desserts and fried foods burden the spleen and stomach. Undigested damp waste accumulates around the neck and shoulders.
Persistent tiredness and drowsiness can be from what you eat.
