A&S Creative Style had the absolute honour of attending The Formal Project’s Glitz & Glam Gala as a Bronze Sponsor, celebrating an organisation that holds such a special place in our hearts.

The Formal Project helps thousands of young people experience something so many of us take for granted: the chance to feel beautiful, confident and celebrated at their formal.

Through donated formal wear and the incredible support of The Butterfly Effect, young people receive more than just a dress, a suit, hair or makeup. They receive a moment. A memory. A night where they get to feel seen, valued and like they truly belong.

And behind this incredible organisation is Sam.

Despite facing unimaginable hardship throughout her own life, Sam has taken everything she has been through and turned it into something beautiful. She created a place for kids and young adults who may see a little bit of themselves in her story.

She has taken her struggles and turned them into hope for others.

And that is what makes The Formal Project so incredibly special.

We danced, laughed, celebrated and let our hair down, surrounded by people who believe in this incredible cause. But underneath all the glitz and glam was something so much bigger.

A reminder that sometimes, one person deciding to make a difference can create a ripple that changes thousands of lives.

We are so incredibly proud to play a small part in that ripple. 🦋
