Jude McKenna Merrilees, born at 5:47am on Saturday 19/09/2026. He is absolutely tiny, weighing just 2.780kg at birth.

The smallest little bundle, bringing more joy and love into our lives than I ever thought possible.

He is just too damn cute. It’s hard to get anything done when all I want to do is stare at him all day 😍

Welcome, little man. Your aunties love you already xx

After 18 wonderful years, Eclectic Hair is becoming The Loft Hair Retreat.

This change is about so much more than a new location or a new name. It's about evolving into a space that truly reflects who we are today and the experience we want to create for you.

The name The Loft reflects our beautiful new home, while Hair Retreat speaks to something I've always believed in — that your time in the salon should be about more than just having your hair done.

A moment to slow down, reconnect, feel cared for and step out of the chaos of everyday life.

While our name and surroundings are changing, the heart of what we do remains the same. Beautiful hair, genuine connection and the care you've come to know and love.

We can't wait to welcome you into our next chapter.

MOLLY is on maternity leave 💙🤰

Officially waiting for her son to arrive & we are on the countdown! Clients have been asking us if the baby is earth side yet 🤔 but as of yesterday he is quite happy where he is.

While Molly takes this beautiful time to soak up her new little family, the rest of our team will be here looking after her gorgeous clients until she’s ready to return 💙

One for the short hair girls ✨

We share a lot of long hair around here, but this one deserved its moment.

For this client, we added face-framing foils to bring some lightness around the face, then refreshed everything with a rich red-brown colour throughout.

Soft, glossy, dimensional and perfect on this textured bob ❤️‍🔥

And now that she’s had a taste of the red, she’s ready to go even bolder next time — brighter red with a few more pops through the foils.
