Nail inspiration is a funny thing, it doesn’t need to be a pic but it definitely helps.
Sometimes I need a little spark to help my creativity.. that can come from a conversation your possible event, dress, a fav colour, a vibe or even sometimes beautiful just catches my eye.

I Personally find it kind of crazy cause although I do love a funky set There’s absolutely nothing boring about “ N**e nails “ for me.
Why? Well, there’s nowhere to hide any imperfections!

✅ Feel polished / clean & elegant.
& I fully respect a client who doesn’t want this but you shouldn’t ever be ashamed if this is what you’re into! 👀✨

THE HARD TRUTH OF A SMALL BUSINESS

Hi! let me introduce myself again.
I’m Jade, A wife, mum of 3 & small business owner working from home.

I work around 38 hours a week with clients, not including scheduling, cleaning, bookkeeping, social media & everything else that comes with running a business.

I’ve built my work around my family so I can take my kids to school, sports & work, which means every minute of my day is planned.

Sometimes my one-hour break feels like a NASCAR race. I’m rushing everywhere, trying to get everyone where they need to be before returning to work.
& yea Honestly, sometimes I’m happy to sit back down & do nails because it’s the simple part of my day!

Working for myself allows me to be a mum while still earning an income in this expensive world.

Bundaberg has become incredibly busy & As much as we love our nails, they aren’t essential. If you’ve tried booking a doctor, hairdresser, tradie or other service & been told they’re fully booked, you’ll understand.

I’ve been doing nails for 6 years & I’m incredibly lucky to have many long-term clients.
I also work differently from some shopping centre salons. I work slower & I’m extremely meticulous.

So if I can’t “fit you in” when another salon can, it’s because I’m just booked & I am just 1 person.
I promise I’m not being “selective”
I feel so guilty when I can’t fit someone in but I can’t create more appointments or hours in the day.

So this is just a gentle reminder that Behind every small business is a real person with a family, responsibilities, good days, bad days & plenty to manage.

& We’re all just trying our best to keep everything moving.
