CANCELLATION & NO SHOW POLICY💥

As from January 2025, there has been a Cancellation & No Show Policy in place .

We kindly request a 24-hour notice period for any Appointment Cancellations or Rescheduling. Late Cancellations will be subject to a fee. If you cancel your Appointment without at least 24 hours notice, we will be adding a 25% fee of the cost of your missed Service onto your next Appointments docket. We understand that sometimes Clients need to cancel at the last moment due to sickness or unforseen circumstances. It will be at Sarah's discretion as to what action will be taken in the particular situation. We appreciate your Understanding and Co-operation. Regards, Sarah 🌻

Training Update ☺️

Crystal and I attended a Training afternoon with Clever Curl on Monday 28th July.

It was a super fun Opportunity to take in some new Colouring Techniques, in particularly for Curly Hair but that can be applied on a broader spectrum. We really enjoyed some association with other Hairdressers, eager to learn too and for Crystal to get more experience in another small Salon and its set up etc. We have come back with some fresh ideas ready to apply to the Salon and personally, with any Training I do, I love getting a few logs added to the "passion for Hair" 🔥 inside of me.😃 It was also so much fun talking with other Stylists about the Industry's ups & downs and giving each other some encouragement.😉 Regards, Sarah🌻

Good morning Createbyday Family!

I'm writing today a bit of a heartfelt and maybe heavy message.
We have hit the last half of the year and as you're all aware I will not be working the weekends next year, like I currently do.

Leo's in school and I'm prioritising that time for my family time. Although this is a special time and huge step for my personal life, it also means it's a huge change for the Salon and possibly for some of you who have been loyal to me over many, many years of support.

So I wanted to put this in writing for people to read in their own time and give time to those who may have to figure out what they want to do.

First of all, I currently only work every second weekend. That means we have roughly 10 weekends left that I'm working!

Of those 10 weekends I have roughly 5 weekends that aren't currently completely booked up.

Of those 5 weekends, I have very limited space for 2 of them.. and when I say limited I mean... very!

So this means that at this stage, unless something gets shuffled around or I have a cancellation, I cannot cater to many more weekend appointments, unless pre booked and no new client bookings for weekends left either.

It's a bit of a shock to my system and I understand that this means I very well may lose a few people from their regular visits with me, but I know that you'll all understand and support my decision made on this, because you have all done this through every change I've made since beginning my own business.

For this I am truly grateful. I love my Createbyday family so much and I appreciate every single person's love and support up until now and beyond.

So.. what does this mean for my hours?

Once I have worked my last weekend, I will be swapping to working every Monday instead of every second Monday.
I will also be introducing Wednesdays to my roster. So below will be the eventual new roster - as of end of January 2027 it will be fully in action;) these will be both Admin and Salon hours.

Mondays: 2pm- last Appointment 5pm
Tuesdays: 7am- 2pm
Wednesdays: 7am- 2pm
Fridays: 7am-2pm

Crystal will also be in Salon the following hours as of September 1st this year:
Alternating fortnights -
Mondays: 2pm- 6pm
Tuesdays: 7:30am- 11am
Fridays: 8am- 2pm

If you've got an appointment booked for a weekend or any hours around these, they will be kept. You will always hear from me if I need to change something! ☺️

OUT OF SALON💥

Just letting all of our CreateByDay Family know that on Monday July 27th, the Salon will be closed.

The girls are attending Clever Curl Training.☺️
