We’re testing Australia’s new national warning system, AusAlert, across Australia tomorrow as part of the AusAlert national test.

⏰ Set a reminder for 5 minutes before the test time in your location so you are prepared in case you receive it.

The national test will be sent to all compatible mobile devices in Australia, which includes most mobile phones, some smart watches and some tablets. Apple iPads don’t receive AusAlerts.

📱 The test will be a Critical Alert. Your device will vibrate and play a loud siren-like sound for around 10 seconds before stopping, even if it is on ‘silent’ or 'do not disturb'. The message will clearly identify itself as a test and no action is required. If you don’t receive the AusAlert national test, this is fine too, as it’s just a test.

Have you tried sugaring yet? 🍯

Our sugar paste is made from Sugar, Water and Lemon Juice. There is no heat and no nasty chemicals or fragrances 🙅🏼‍♀️

Not all sugaring is the same, experience and technique are imperative in true sugaring. With 14 years experience in sugaring, we are efficient and masters of the traditional technique!

The benefits of sugaring are undeniably superior to traditional waxing. Here are the main ones:

👉🏼 The hair is removed in the NATURAL direction of growth, not against the growth.

👉🏼 This allows us to remove the entire hair follicle without breaking it.

👉🏼 When we do this the hair takes a lot longer to rebuild and regrow, making it weaker and weaker each time it is removed. This also means the results last longer between appointments.

👉🏼 Because of this the hair becomes so fine and we can achieve permanent hair reduction.

👉🏼 There is no topical sensitivity from heat, chemicals or fragrances on the skin so even the most sensitive skins and areas, like the face, can be sugared.

👉🏼 Even the darkest, thickest hairs can be removed with sugar and achieve hair reduction. Including males and ethnic skins.

👉🏼 Already fine blonde hairs (like on the face) will NOT grow back thicker or darker.

👉🏼 Sugaring is faster, less painful and more thorough. We can pick up short, fine hairs with sugaring leaving the skin baby soft.
