Today we say goodbye to our beautiful Hayley 🤍

For all of our E23 clients, today is officially Hayley’s last day with us as she heads off to start her next chapter in New Zealand.

Hayley has been such a special part of the very beginning of E23 Hair. Starting a new salon is a huge journey, and we’ll always be grateful that she was there beside us for those early days, helping bring the salon to life, filling it with laughs, beautiful hair and plenty of memories along the way.

Hayley…we are going to miss having you around more than you know. 😭 We are so proud of you, so excited for everything that’s ahead, and so grateful that you’ll forever be part of the beginning of the E23 story.

Thank you for everything you’ve brought to E23, for the friendship and for all of the beautiful clients you’ve looked after along the way.

Now go out there, back yourself, chase everything you want and absolutely smash life out of the park. 🥹🤍

A little behind-the-scenes honesty…

If you’ve been wondering why I haven’t shared nearly as many hair photos over the past few months, this is why.

When I worked from my home salon, I was spoiled with beautiful natural light that made photographing hair easy.

Since moving into E23 Hair, I’ve found capturing the true colour, shine and dimension much harder than I expected. Hair can look incredible in person, but once I look back at the photo, it often doesn’t reflect what I created.

As a perfectionist, that’s made me hesitate every time I’ve gone to post.

But I’ve realised something recently…

Waiting for perfect photos means I’m not sharing the work I’m genuinely proud of.

So I’m changing that.

From now on you’ll be seeing a lot more of my work, even if the lighting isn’t always perfect! Because I’d much rather show you beautiful hair than disappear from Instagram altogether.

Grey blending is becoming one of my favourite things to do.

The goal isn’t always to completely cover them. Sometimes it’s about softening the contrast, creating dimension, and making the grow-out feel less harsh between appointments.

In this clip, my clients natural white hairs were toned with a demi colour that leaves the darker hairs untouched, which is what creates that soft, highlighted effect throughout the hair.

And the best part?
The regrowth stays soft and blended as it grows out. 🤍
