These little organic shops are my everything!!! Many of my infusions for all my soaps and products are found within these walls. The burst of inspiration gives me so much happiness at the possibilities. Without these small Australian businesses I could not create my beautiful products.

🌿 BACK TO THE WAY IT USED TO BE 🌿

Remember when our ancestors turned to nature for the things they needed? There’s something beautiful about going back to those roots and making the most of the gifts nature provides.

The photos you see are some of the beautiful ingredients I use in my soapmaking. Organic tea infusions, milks, shea butter, mango butter and food grade natural oils are just some of the ingredients that find their way into my creations.

But for me, it’s about more than simply adding natural ingredients to soap. It’s about understanding them, respecting them and getting the very best out of what nature gives us. 🌿

When I create an infusion, I monitor the temperature for a minimum of 8 hours to help protect the goodness of those precious ingredients from excessive heat.

And this is where my love of science really comes in! 🧪

During my experimenting years, I studied each ingredient to understand how it would react with the lye used in soapmaking. Would the lye monster destroy what I was trying to preserve? 😂 What temperatures could I work with? How could I adjust my process to get the best results?

It took 5 years of experimenting before I sold my very first bar of soap. Five years of learning, testing, tweaking and being completely fascinated by the science behind it all.

I believe nature’s gifts deserve to be honoured, not just thrown into a recipe without thought.

That’s the heart of what I do at Nature’s Olde Skool Miracle — bringing together the gifts of nature, a little old fashioned wisdom and a whole lot of science to create something beautiful for your skin.

If we haven’t met, I’m Lee, the hands, heart and soul behind Nature’s Olde Skool Miracle! 🌿

I make handmade soaps and goodies right here in sunny QLD, using beautiful ingredients inspired by nature.

What started over 10 years ago as my own journey to ditch the nasties has grown into a little business filled with creativity, a whole lot of soap and on occasion my soap house looks like a soap factory exploded! 🤣

This range was created especially for people who have sensitive, troublesome or easily irritated skin and want to keep things as simple and natural as possible.

There are no added colours and no added scents. All natural ingredients like food grade olive oil, shea butter, mango butter, clays, homegrown calendula and aloe vera.

Over the years, I’ve had customers tell me their skin felt so much better using these soaps. Including people who’ve struggled with eczema, psoriasis and extremely sensitive skin.

Sometimes, keeping things simple really is the best place to start. 🌿
