I thought my work should speak for itself… And while the business still grew, I now realise how much harder I was making it.

When I finally started showing up, things shifted quickly:

They could see who was teaching them, hear how I explained things and understand the experience behind Lash Prodigy.

🤎 My content started converting better.
I was no longer only posting courses and results. People connected with my opinions, my story and the reason I built the business.

🤎The conversations in my DMs changed.
Instead of only asking about price, women were telling me they related to me, trusted me and felt confident learning from me.

🤎 More opportunities came directly to me.
Speaking, judging, collaborations and industry recognition became possible because people finally knew the woman behind the brand.

None of that would have happened in the same way if I had continued hiding behind my business.

My fears were real—but most of them were wrong.

I feared being judged.
👉 I realised people were far more interested in learning from me than picking me apart.

I feared I wasn’t polished or confident enough.
👉 I realised confidence came from showing up repeatedly, not waiting until I magically felt ready.

I feared making the brand too much about me.
👉 I realised showing my face didn’t weaken the business. It gave people someone to remember, relate to and trust.

I wish I had understood this sooner:
You don’t need to become an influencer or share every detail of your life.
But people need to know who they are buying from.

Staying invisible might feel safer…
but your business could be paying the price.

Not every lash lift goes perfectly the first time… and that’s completely okay.

What separates a good lash artist from a great one isn’t never making mistakes—it’s noticing them, understanding why they happened, and knowing exactly how to correct them before your client leaves.

That’s where real skill comes in.

Anyone can follow a manual. But developing the eye to assess your work, troubleshoot problems, and make adjustments comes from quality training, experience, and hands-on guidance.

Perfection isn’t the goal.
Constant improvement is.
