One of the biggest lessons I’ve learnt in business is that the people who would traditionally be considered your “competition” often become some of your greatest supporters.

The industry teaches us to guard our ideas, compare ourselves to others, and view every successful person as someone taking a piece of the pie.

But the reality is very different.

I’ve met some incredible people through this industry. People who have shared advice, celebrated wins, offered support during difficult seasons, referred clients they couldn’t help, and reminded me that there is room for all of us.

There are plenty of faces, clients, and opportunities in this world.

The right clients will choose you because they connect with you, your values, your approach, and your experience. Someone else’s success doesn’t take away from yours, just as your success doesn’t take away from theirs.

The moment you stop focusing on what everyone else is doing and start focusing on serving your own clients well, business becomes a much more enjoyable place to be.

So if you’re doing amazing things, I’ll be cheering for you.

Because success isn’t a limited resource, and supporting others costs nothing.
