Got a lot of actives in your routine? Here’s how skin cycling can help.
Exfoliants, retinol, vitamin C, peptides. Each one has a role, but using them all in one routine can work against your skin.
Some actives need a different pH to work well, some compete with each other, and too many layers can sit on the surface instead of absorbing.
Skin cycling gives each active its own night.
An example of how this could work would be: Night one is exfoliation.
Night two is retinol, which you can follow with a peptide serum.
Nights three and four are for recovery, with hydrating, barrier-supporting ingredients like hyaluronic acid, niacin amide and ceramides.
The aim is consistency without overloading your barrier. Spacing your actives out may help reduce irritation while you keep working on various skin concerns.

This content is general information only and isn’t a substitute for personalised advice. Results vary between individuals. Introduce new actives gradually and patch test first. If you’re pregnant, breastfeeding or have a skin condition, talk to a qualified practitioner before using retinoids or exfoliating acids. Wear SPF daily, especially when using actives.
Noticing loose skin and lines around the eyes? There’s a non-invasive option.
Ultraformer MPT is a micro-focused ultrasound treatment. It works beneath the surface of the skin, without needles.
What it is
Ultraformer MPT uses micro-pulsed ultrasound technology to deliver focused energy to precise depths below the skin, while the surface stays intact.
How it works.
The energy creates tiny points of heat in the deeper layers of the skin. This triggers the body’s own collagen and elastin production, which gradually supports firmer, tighter-looking skin.
Why it suits the eye area.
The skin around the eyes is some of the thinnest on the face, and it’s often where laxity and fine lines show first. Ultraformer MPT can be set to shallower depths suited to thinner skin. That lets your nurse tailor the treatment to the delicate area around the eyes and brow.
Downtime.
Because the skin’s surface isn’t broken, there’s no wound to heal. You may notice redness, swelling, or tingling afterwards, and comfort levels differ from person to person. Your practitioner will take you through aftercare and any temporary activity restrictions.
How long does it take to see results
Collagen takes time to rebuild, so results develop gradually over the following months. How many treatments you need, and how often you need maintenance, varies from person to person.
Every conversation on our treatment options starts with a consultation. We’ll assess your skin, talk through whether Ultraformer MPT suits you, and cover the alternatives.

Results vary between individuals. Like all cosmetic treatments, Ultraformer MPT carries risks, including temporary redness, swelling. A consultation is required to assess suitability.
Collagen stimulation looks different for every age.
Collagen production slows gradually over time. What your skin needs at 25 isn’t what it needs at 55, so the approach should change with your skins needs.

Results take time.
Skin-tightening treatments like Sofwave work by stimulating your skin’s natural collagen and elastin production, a process that continues gradually over the weeks following treatment.
As collagen and elastin remodel and strengthen, improvements in firmness, texture and overall skin quality become progressively more visible.
With results taking up to 12 weeks to fully develop, timing matters. If you have an event, holiday or special occasion ahead, now is the time to begin your treatment plan.
Plan ahead. Allow your skin the time it needs to transform.
Corrected your pigmentation this winter? The next few months matter just as much.
Pigmentation is the result of years of accumulated sun exposure, damage that sits at a cellular level, almost like a scar your skin holds onto. Once it’s been corrected, it can rebound if it isn’t managed properly.
So the focus shifts from correction to control.
SkinPen microneedling, spaced every six to twelve weeks, keeps skin in a steady state of repair rather than reacting after the fact. Between sessions, a peel like the PCA Pigment Correct Peel helps keep tone even and consistent.
But the most important work happens at home. Broad spectrum SPF, every day, is non-negotiable. Layer in a serum that targets pigment formation directly. We always reach for Alastin A-luminate Brightening Serum in clinic, formulated with tranexamic acid to help fade visible pigmentation and support prevention.
Correction gets you to clear skin. Maintenance is what keeps you there.

Your neck can show signs of ageing earlier than the face, but often doesn’t get the same attention.
And not all neck lines form for the same reason, or require the same treatment.
Horizontal lines can be genetic and become more pronounced with age.
Vertical lines are often linked to declining collagen, elastin and skin elasticity.
Platysmal bands are caused by the underlying muscle, while “tech neck” refers to horizontal creases that develop with repeated downward neck positioning.
And a lot of people have a combination.
That’s why treatment needs to be tailored to the cause.
For crepey texture and laxity, Sofwave can stimulate collagen and support firmer-looking skin, alongside at home support options like Alastin Restorative Neck Complex.
For platysmal bands, the focus is the underlying muscle and requires individual assessment.
For deeper folds and texture, resurfacing treatments such as Opus Plasma or Fraxel can help, while SkinCeuticals Tripeptide Neck Repair provides at-home support with retinol and peptides.

Your skin relies on collagen and elastin to maintain firmness and elasticity.
Both decline gradually with age — the process behind softened contours, looser skin, textural changes and a loss of definition.
