The time has come.... This Little Curl will remain forever 8 years old...

It's been a long time coming and likely isn't much of a surprise to many of our curlies but it's time I finally admit defeat to my multiple chronic illnesses and ongoing health issues. Something has to give and closing a business is more socially acceptable than selling my children or cashing in Mr TLCs life insurance, so here we are.

This wasn't meant to be my "official" announcement, but I honestly think even if I tried, I couldn't write it in a more professional or proper way 😅

For now, my general plan is to hopefully:
☆Sell as much stock as possible.... website hosting fees etc have been sending us backwards for a while so I'd like to hopefully not lose thousands of dollars in stock too.

☆Close the website on our 8th birthday -
Saturday 29th August 2026

☆Maybe have some kind of in person shopping day for any left overs after that.

☆Cry my heart out. Be Angry at the world and life for panning out this way because it feels so bloody unfair to have ended up here.

☆Pick myself up and start moving on with life again.

I have tried, and failed, to write this post many, many times over the past months. I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Always clinging to a smidge of hope that I'd magically wake up feeling like my old self and be able to make things work again. Alas, 2 years on and the body still hurts almost every day, my brain still glitches every day and nothing works as it used to.

I'm so gutted. It physically hurts my heart to give up what we've built. Business aside I genuinely freaking loved our curly community. But it is what it is. It has to happen. I'm so proud of what I've built but so frustrated it's come to this. I love our curlies so much, I'm really going to miss it all.

Anyhow.....blabber blabber blabber, cry cry cry, woe is me. Things will be ok.

Keep an eye out in the coming days/weeks for more and more discounts.
