Combination Brow Transformation
This lovely client came to me with old brow tattooing that had faded unevenly over time and healed with a cool, bluish tone. Her original goal was a soft nano hairstroke brow, however the existing tattoo pigment and patchy saturation meant that a full hairstroke result would not have healed naturally or predictably.
Instead, I chose a combination brow technique, blending delicate hairstrokes with soft shading. This allowed me to create a more natural appearance while also covering and correcting the old tattoo work underneath.
One of the challenges during this procedure was the skin itself. Some mature skins, previously tattooed skins, and skins with a lot of sun exposure or scar tissue can be more resistant to accepting pigment. When this happens, the pigment doesn't implant as easily and can appear to "push out" during the procedure.
There are several reasons this can occur:
• Previous tattooing can create scar tissue beneath the skin surface.
• Mature skin is often thinner and more delicate.
• Sun damage can change skin texture and elasticity.
• Areas with fibrosis or old pigment deposits may not retain new pigment evenly.
• Overworking resistant skin can cause trauma and actually reduce pigment retention.
Because of this, I worked very slowly and gently throughout the appointment, focusing on careful implantation rather than forcing the pigment into the skin. Patience is essential in these cases, as preserving skin integrity is always more important than chasing immediate saturation.
The result is a beautifully refreshed brow shape with improved definition, softness and balance, while keeping the skin healthy and ready for the healing process and future touch-up.
Most importantly, she left feeling confident, happy and excited about her new brows — and that's always the goal.

We started with a clean foundation, rebuilt the structure, and finished with this gorgeous cherry-inspired set featuring deep burgundy tones, soft pinks and playful polka dots.

One of the things I love most about nails is seeing the transformation. Not just the final design, but how much confidence a fresh set can bring.

These are sculpted gel extensions, customised to suit her hands and finished with a high-gloss shine.
