What being a mum, a full-time student and a business owner has taught me… 🤍
As you get older, your circle gets smaller.
And honestly, I think that’s one of the best parts of growing up.
You start to realise that you don’t need a huge circle — you need the right people in it.
The people who show up.
The people who understand when life is chaotic.
The people who celebrate your wins, pick you up when things feel hard, and never make you feel like you have to do it all alone.
Being a mum, studying full-time and running a business has taught me that I simply can’t be everything to everyone.
Some days I’m studying late at night.
Some days I’m rushing from school drop-offs to the clinic.
Some days I’m trying to be present for my kids while thinking about an assignment or a million things on my business to-do list.
And I’ve learnt that asking for help isn’t weakness.
It’s what allows me to keep going.
I’m incredibly lucky to have a husband, family and friends who make up a circle of support that is genuinely priceless.
The older I get, the more I value quality over quantity.
A smaller circle.
A deeper connection.
More love.
More support.
And people who genuinely want to see you thrive.

One of the biggest takeaways for me wasn’t just the treatments, technology or latest advancements — it was the opportunity for collaboration.
Being surrounded by leading physicians, nurses, dermal clinicians and industry professionals reinforced just how powerful a multi-modality, multi-disciplinary and multi-physician approach can be.
Skin health and aesthetic outcomes aren’t about one treatment or one device. They’re about understanding the skin, the individual and how different modalities can work together to achieve the best possible outcome.
It was also incredibly exciting to see Dermal Clinicians being recognised and included within this space. Our role is evolving, and our knowledge, clinical skills and understanding of skin health have an important place within the broader aesthetic and medical landscape.
The networking, conversations and opportunities that come from being in a room like this are invaluable, and I’m excited to see where this continued collaboration takes our industry.
