Bittersweet but so so grateful 🫶

Dry Needling can be a kinder approach to very over sensitised areas. We had a great result with pain reduction for this very angry and over worked shoulder, allowing the client to rest and recover more comfortably before getting into her rehab.
A great outcome 👌

Subscapularis
Origin: Subscapular fossa of the scapula (anterior surface).
Insertion: Lesser tubercle of the humerus.
Actions:
- Medial (internal) rotation of the humerus.
- Stabilizes the head of the humerus in the glenoid cavity as part of the rotator cuff.
Secondary Functions:
- Assists in adduction of the arm.
- Provides shoulder joint stability during various movements.
Referral Pain patterns:
- posterior shoulder, scapular region, and down the back of the arm.
- front of the shoulder and wrist.
