ππ Proud Sponsor ππ
At Banks Wellness Studio, we're proud to sponsor Kurtis Tucker ( #55) at Cranbourne Football Club.
Kurtis's journey with the club goes way back. He started in the Under 11s in 2017 and has worked his way up through the age groups ever since. He was part of back to back Under 17s premierships in 2022 and 2023, was named Captain of the Under 19s in 2025, and was lucky enough to be selected to play back to back games with the Seniors, something most Under 19s teams dream of. There's likely so much more to his playing history than we could fit here, but Kurtis has racked up around 130 games and around 80 goals for the club so far. That kind of consistency doesn't happen by accident, it takes real heart, and Kurtis has shown that week in, week out.
We've watched him for almost two seasons now, and on top of everything he does on the field, Kurtis also gives back to the club, coaching the Under 10s boys at Cranbourne Junior Football Club.
Honestly, calling this "just a sponsorship" doesn't come close to the real story. Somewhere along the way, the Tucker family became our family too. Kurtis coaches the Under 10s alongside Bianca's step son Tyler, his younger brothers are best mates with Bianca's youngest son Jaxx, and Bianca, her daughter Brea and partner Dylan have grown close with Kurtis's mum Bec, dad Mick, and brother Mason.
It has been an absolute honour to sponsor Kurtis and watch him grow, on and off the field.
Keep being you, Kurtis. So many people, including the little ones who look up to you, are so proud of you. We know we are, at Banks Wellness Studio. ππ

I had a client recently who told me she felt guilty for resting. And honestly, I hear that more than you'd think.
We live in a world that glorifies being busy, where slowing down feels like falling behind. But here's what I know as a therapist: rest isn't something you earn. It's something your body genuinely needs.
When you finally give yourself permission to stop, that's actually when the good stuff happens. Your body repairs, resets and rebalances. The tension starts to release. The nervous system gets a chance to breathe.
So if you've been running on empty lately your body is probably already asking for it. It might just be worth listening. πΏ

What is fascia?
You've probably heard of muscles. But fascia? That's the hidden layer that connects everything.
Fascia is a web of connective tissue surrounding every muscle, bone, nerve and organ in your body. When healthy it's pliable and fluid. When stressed or held in one position too long, it tightens.
Tight fascia causes deep aching, restricted movement and that "stuck" feeling that won't go away.
Remedial massage works directly with the fascial system, releasing tension at a deeper level than just the muscle surface.

πΏ Easter Weekend Onsite Massage
Yesterday, Bianca headed out to Montana on the Macalister in Glenmaggie, teaming up with Massage to offer campers an extra chance to unwind over the Easter weekend.
It was also a special trip bringing along Deb, who both Bianca and Naomi had the pleasure of studying alongside during their uni days, making it an even more meaningful experience.
At Bankβs Wellness Studio, we love being able to work onsite, helping people slow down, relax, and truly enjoy their time away. Whether itβs switching off from the everyday or easing those niggling tension spots after setting up camp, itβs all about supporting your wellbeing wherever you are.
A big thank you to Action Massage for another opportunity to work together, weβre so grateful and excited for many more to come.
β¨ Donβt forget, Bankβs Wellness Studio is available for mobile, in-home bookings.
β¨ Weβre also looking forward to more adventures and opportunities to bring relaxation to campers, families, and holidaymakers out enjoying their time away.

πββοΈ Common Tension Areas
The neck, shoulders, back, hips, and legs are some of the most common areas where tension builds. These parts of the body work hard every day supporting posture, movement, and the physical and emotional demands of life.
When stress, repetition, or poor posture linger, these areas are often the first to feel tight, sore, or restricted. Targeted massage can help ease discomfort, improve movement, and support how your body feels and functions day to day.

πΏ Where Stress Lives
When stress lingers, the body holds onto it through tight muscles, shallow breaths, and constant tension.
Massage helps signal safety, encouraging the body to move from tension and protection into rest and healing.

β¨ Consistency Matters
One massage can feel amazing in the moment, but consistent massage is what supports long-term balance and recovery.
Over time, regular sessions help ease ongoing tension, improve movement, and support your nervous system to stay regulated.
Itβs not about fixing one problem itβs about caring for your body consistently so it can function, recover, and feel its best.
