Sunday - slow down, plan for the week and remember who you are!

Let’s get this week - with rest and active recovery too of course 💁‍♀️

POV - You open a sauna studio because you figure out nothing makes you feel better than a good sauna.

And then the deeper you dive, the more you read about, see first hand and experience the scientific benefits.

However when you ask me why opened re•nu my answer will still probably be the same - ‘I’m just obsessed with saunas’ 🤣

See you in the sauna this weekend!

Squeezed in a quick visit to Reload Sanctuary in Canggu Bali for a sauna & poolside protein smoothie.
Next time I’ll definitely get stuck into some weights or a class too.

People always ask which wellness clubs are the best in Bali so thought I’d share this latest one I’ve tried.
As the Bali saying goes, they’re all same same but different. The thing I loved most about this one was the massive sauna & its proximity to the cold plunges (are you surprised the sauna was my fave?🤣)

I was short on time for this visit as mum was minding the kids for me. My go to when short on time is a 20 min hot traditional sauna. You just get the most bang for your buck. You detox by sweating, get inflammation down (very welcome after flight puffiness) and boost mood due to the heat shock proteins and dopamine hit.

Time to refuel after my sauna - As some who is still learning about macros and calories etc I really appreciated the breakdown of it all on the extensive menu of healthy foods.

Coming up is the re•nu Retreat and we head to Bamboo Fitness wellness club up in beautiful Uluwatu.

I can’t wait to share more Bali inspo because that’s exactly what it is for me and re•nu. When we were designing re•nu we incorporated so many ideas from the wellness clubs there. And we still have plenty up our sleeve ☀️

See you in at re•nu for a little piece of Bali 🔥

You guys know us as 2 halves of the re•nu founders.
Before re•nu we were a couple for almost 2 decades.
Those 2 decades filled with travel, party, work, study and family life.
Then we wanted more. We wanted a business of our own that would at its very essence would make the people of Ballarat feel better. Including ourselves!
I hope you enjoy the snaps of pre re•nu Holly & Nick
We will see you in the sauna 💫

If you’re a woman in your 40s and you’re starting to feel like your body has suddenly changed the rules… start here. 🔥

At 43 and in perimenopause, THE BEST thing I’ve added into my routine is traditional sauna.

Not because it’s a magic fix. Although it certainly feels like it.
But because it gives me a space to slow down, switch off and actually listen to what my body needs.

For me, sauna has become part of my nervous-system toolkit — especially on the days when life feels busy, my stress is high and I’m running on everyone else’s needs.

It melts away muscle tension and stops the achy joints that sometimes come along for the ride in perimenopause. Not to mention the instant mood boost the happy hormones released provide.

And honestly? I think it’s one of the best places to start if you’re a woman in your 40s wanting to feel more like yourself again.

You don’t need to overhaul your whole life.

The infrared sauna is great too but I’m a little short on time these days and with the traditional sauna being the recommended 87 degrees I know 20 mins is all I need, 4 times a week.

See you in the sauna 🔥❄️💁‍♀️

Post workshop vibes, energy & feedback this morn!

I have a sneaky suspicion watching women choose themselves will always be the best part of my job (that is actually my dream gig come to true 🩷)

For those who missed the 5 times I say ‘October’ in the vid 🤣 the next workshop is Sun Oct 11th. 1-3pm. Already 5/15 tickets sold.

Be one of the other 10. Choose yourself. Choose to have a regulated nervous system pretty much immediately and then one that will carry you lightly into Christmas time.

Let’s go! We can do it together 💫

Also, see you in the sauna soon 🔥
