A little payment update from Blush 🤍

From 1st October, changes to card surcharging mean businesses will no longer be able to pass card payment surcharges on to customers.

While this is great news for customers, the processing fees don’t disappear - they instead become a cost that small businesses need to absorb.

For a little business like Blush, our Fresha payment processing fees currently sit at around $500 per month… approximately $6,000 per year. 😳

That’s a pretty significant amount for a small business, so we’re looking at simple ways we can reduce these costs.

From now, our preferred payment methods will be:

🤍 Bank Transfer / PayID - preferred
🤍 Cash
🤍 Card

Card is absolutely still available! From 1st October there will be no additional surcharge for paying by card - Blush will absorb the processing fee. We’re simply asking that if you’re happy and able to pay via bank transfer, PayID or cash instead, we would be incredibly grateful.

We’ve sent an email to our client base explaining everything in more detail, including our payment details. We recommend saving Blush as a payee in your banking app now so checking out at your next appointment is still quick and easy.

It may seem like a small change, but collectively it can make a BIG difference to a small business. 🫶🏼

Soft, natural brows will always have my heart 🤎

This lovely client came to me incredibly nervous about having her brows tattooed. Her biggest fear? Ending up with brows that looked too dark, too heavy or obviously “tattooed”.

So our goal was simple: restore shape, colour and definition while still keeping her brows soft and believable.

We chose a shaded powder brow, carefully customised to her natural colouring and facial features. Although they look more defined immediately after treatment, the colour will soften beautifully as they heal, leaving a much more subtle, powdered finish.
