Styling day for ❤️❤️
Wednesday the 14th of April
At the end of 2014 Will & I travelled to Mae Sot, Thailand, along with our friends to visit the children’s home and school of Global Advance Projects, an organisation they started. These children have come from war torn areas of Myanmar.
In the past two months there has been an increase in violence and atrocities after a military lead terrorist coup took power on February 1st, coupled with the closure of all schools in Burma due to Covid 19. This has left the children of Myanmar vulnerable and at extremely high risk of exploitation, trafficking and child soldering recruitment.
My friends at GAP have been approached by local Thai principlas to house, protect and assist in educating up to 80 children from Myanmar that will be offered safe passage to continue education in Thailand.
I want to do my part to help a community I have cared about for many years. On Wednesday April 14th, book in for a cut or treatment/blowdry and all proceeds from the day will go directly to assist GAP in providing for children caught up in the conflict.
