Congratulations to Emma, who has recently completed her GLA:D® Australia training.

GLA:D® is an evidence-based education and exercise program designed for people with hip and knee osteoarthritis, helping them reduce pain, improve function, and stay active.

We're excited to bring this internationally recognized program to our clinic, with classes anticipated to commence in September/October.

Student Brielle is with us at Albany Physiotherapy on Mondays to complete work placement as a part of her Allied Health Assistant studies.

She is learning valuable skills under the guidance of our Physiotherapists and Allied Health Assistant Kristy.

We enjoy supporting students who aspire towards a career in rehabilitation 👍

Great turnout this week for our sport strapping practical session held at Mount Barker Football Club!
Participants were all keen to practice rigid taping for shoulder, thumb / wrist, knee and ankle injuries.

We hope the skills learned have empowered volunteers, trainers, parents and players to give it a go in supporting club players on the footy oval 💪
