Does cosmetic tattoos hurt?
The answer is yes, although it is a tolerable pain, and since pain is subjective, it depends on each person and their pain threshold.
Cosmetic tattooing is usually always done with topical anesthetics which eliminates most of the pain.The sensation will vary according to each individual. Most people experience very little or no pain whatsoever.
If you have your menstruation cycle, are sick, extremely run down or hangover, there may be added discomfort with the procedure.
During the procedure your brow tattooist will be monitoring you by observing body language, verbally checking in and taking breaks if you need.
Don't be afraid to voice your discomfort if it becomes too much to bear.
