Healthy hair should always be the priority. And sometimes with new enquiry if I see that hair potentially wouldn’t benefit from extensions, “no” is my answer.

Myth buster for today!
One of the most common questions I get is:

“Is it normal if a few bonds slip over time?”

The answer is YES!

Just like we naturally shed around 50–100 hairs every day, keratin bond extensions are attached to individual hair strands that follow the same natural growth cycle.
Plus, every client natural hair grow and scalp conditions being different!
Think about lush extensions as well!

Over the course of a full wear period, it is completely normal for a small number of bonds to shed or slip.
(Up to 10% of all installed bonds)

Of course, everything over it: excessive slipping or shedding needs to be investigated, but a few slipped bonds over several weeks are something could be expected!
