If your body has been carrying more than usual lately, Usadha sessions are available in Crafers this weekend.
Imagine a relationship with your body built on trust, not negotiation.
A body you don't only listen to when something hurts.
A body you don't keep pushing until it finally says, "enough."
What if rest didn't need to be earned?
What if slowing down wasn't something you had to justify?
This isn't about fixing your body.
It's about creating enough space to listen again.
At Usadha, each session is an invitation to reconnect with that relationship.
To pause, to breathe, and to notice what has been asking for your attention.
And sometimes, that's where the shift begins.

The place that hurts isn't always the place that needs the most attention.
A tight shoulder might involve:
• posture
• breathing patterns
• work habits
• old injuries
• stress load
Good bodywork starts with listening before treating.
Before every session, there is a moment of preparation.
The room is set.
The linen is fresh.
The oils are ready.
The space becomes quiet.
For me, the work begins before the first touch.
Usadha was created as a place to slow down and reconnect with the body in a more intentional way.
A space where we can pause, notice what we have been carrying, and explore a different relationship with our body.
Not everything needs to be pushed through.
Sometimes we need a moment to arrive.

Pain isn't always coming from where you feel it.
Sometimes the area that's hurting is working overtime because something else isn't doing its job.
That's why I don't chase symptoms. I look for the underlying patterns that may be driving them.
I'm grateful when clients notice the difference.
Thank you for trusting me with your care.

Winter has a way of settling in the body.
Sometimes it's the neck.
Sometimes it's the jaw.
Sometimes it's not pain so much as the feeling of carrying too much for too long.
Where has winter settled for you this year?

One question I get asked from time to time is:
"How often should I come for a session?"
The honest answer is that it depends.
Some people come because they're in pain and want support through a particular issue.
Some come periodically as part of maintaining their health.
Others simply value having dedicated time to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and tune into what their body might be telling them.
There's no one-size-fits-all answer.
The right frequency is the one that aligns with your goals, your needs, and your life.
That's something we can explore together.

Hi, I'm Putu Kusuma.
I created Usadha for people who have become so busy carrying responsibilities that they've lost touch with how they actually feel.
The people I work with are often capable, caring, and constantly switched on. They're looking after families, businesses, teams, clients, and everyone around them, but rarely give themselves permission to stop.
Over time, that can show up as tension, fatigue, poor sleep, persistent aches, or a feeling of moving through life on autopilot.
Usadha offers restorative bodywork designed to help you slow down, settle your nervous system, and reconnect with yourself.
Each session is tailored to what you need on the day, creating space to breathe, unwind, and simply be for a while.

I’ve quietly been working on a new offering through Usadha over the past little while called The Exhale.
It came from noticing how many people seem exhausted in ways that go beyond muscular tension alone.
The body stays tight.
The mind stays slightly alert.
The nervous system never really lands.
The Exhale is a 2-hour restorative session built around therapeutic bodywork, grounding touch, breath, gentle movement, warmth, and stillness.
Less about fixing.
More about creating the conditions for the body to finally soften a little.
It’s slower.
More spacious.
More intentional than anything I’ve offered before.
It’s now officially part of the Usadha menu. 🌙
You wake up already tired.
Your jaw feels tight.
Your neck feels like it’s holding something… but you don’t know what.
By midday, your shoulders are creeping up toward your ears.
You catch yourself clenching. Again.
Not because you’re doing anything wrong.
But because your body hasn’t had a moment to actually switch off.
Most people try to stretch it out.
Or ignore it.
Or book a quick massage that feels good… then everything slowly tightens back up.
Because the problem isn’t just “tight muscles.”
It’s a nervous system that’s been stuck in the background, running too hot for too long.
In my sessions, we don’t rush in and attack the tension.
We slow things down enough for your body to let go on its own.
Jaw. Neck. Breath.
All the places that have been quietly bracing.
If you’re in the Adelaide Hills and your body feels like this…
I offer 90-minute sessions designed specifically for stress, burnout, and chronic tension patterns.
Private, quiet space.
No in-and-out clinic energy.
Just time for your system to actually come down.

You don’t need more pressure.
You probably need your body to feel safe enough to stop holding on.
