It may look simple and plain, but this bar is pure luxury — gentle, pampering, and oh-so-kind to your skin. 🌿✨

One thing about handmade soap is that it loves water a little too much 🫧. Because it’s packed with glycerin — a natural by-product of soapmaking — it’s super moisturising for your skin 💛. But here’s the catch: that same glycerin also makes the bar softer, especially if it sits in water.

After years of researching and experimenting, I’ve found a few tricks that help soaps last longer:
🧂 Add salt → strengthens the soap from the inside out.
🥥 Use “hard oils” like coconut → (many commercial soaps use palm oil for hardness, but we stay palm-free 🌿).
🍽️ Take care of your bar → a well-draining soap dish lets it dry completely between uses.

The result? Bars that are harder, longer-lasting, yet still gentle and pampering. Some of my favorite recipes for this are:

Being indecisive is usually my husband’s specialty 😂 But today I’m torn—help me out: which soap top looks better? The swirled half or the textured half below?

Also… does your partner have a quirk that drives you crazy, but you kinda appreciate it? Mine takes forever to make decisions. It annoys me to no end, but I also feel so secure knowing he’s thought through every possibility before we choose.

My coping strategy? I just drop the question, go make a batch of soap, and come back later for his answer. Marriage saved (3 months strong 😂💍).

After two beautiful years of slowing down and fully embracing motherhood, I’m ready for a new beginning. 💛

This journey has taught me to keep things simple, intentional, and meaningful — and that’s exactly what I want to bring into my soap-making.

You’ll notice it in my new branding, minimalist packaging, and redesigned soaps. What hasn’t changed (and never will) is the love and care I put into every bar. 🧼✨
