Spending time with Dave’s mom in the Denver area. Lovely to sit outside and enjoy a treat. Lots of flowering trees here, most are white but a few pink crabs. Won’t be TOO much longer until we get flowering trees like these at home!

Some old conveniently green s**g carpet from Edy’s room plus the old chair (added screws to make it safely sit-able, ‘cuz that little girl and her sister-to-be are going to sit in it) and voilà, garden art!

A reward for four days hard work getting my mother-in-law packed up for her move from San Diego to Denver. Big Hunks not very often found in Minnesota - a taste of my CA upbringing.

With Mother’s Day almost here, I find myself thinking of my mom Mary who passed away just a tad over three years ago now with this photo I took of her many years ago when she came to visit from California. She’s pretending to throw her hat (glove) into the air at the spot on Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis where another Mary (Tyler Moore) did the same. She always had such a playful spirit and a way of making moments like this feel special.
