To now have that story recognised and shared with a whole new audience feels pretty special.

On this day in 1897, British doctor Sir Ronald Ross discovered that female mosquitoes transmit malaria between humans, a breakthrough that changed public health forever.
Mosquitoes are still the world’s deadliest animal, spreading malaria, dengue and chikungunya, causing hundreds of thousands of deaths every year.
