To all our Mini Sheikhas 👑 heading back to school next week:

We know what it can feel like to walk into a classroom and realise you are the minority.

You might look around and notice the different hair textures. The straight hair. The curls, not coils. The girls who can just brush their hair and go.

And for a little girl who is still figuring out who she is, it can be so easy to start thinking that maybe your hair isn’t as beautiful. Maybe it’s too big. Too different. Too much.

But Mini Sheikha, we want you to know something:
Your hair is your crown. 👑

It doesn’t need to look like anyone else’s to be beautiful.
It doesn’t need to be smaller to be accepted.
It doesn’t need to be straight to be pretty.

Your coils, curls, kinks, braids, locs and every beautiful style in between are part of what makes you YOU.

And to the mums, aunties and big Sheikhas reading this, keep speaking life into your girls. Compliment their hair. Teach them about their heritage. Let them see women who look like them celebrating their crowns.

Because confidence doesn’t magically appear when they become women.
