Is there a way we can remove some of the harmful substances circulating in our blood?

A new study by Brain Health has looked at this topic. Researchers study plasma apheresis as an effective strategy for a combined targeting of circulating lipoproteins, inflammatory markers, PFAS, and microplastics circulating in the blood.

This is early research, it doesn’t yet prove that removing this substances translates into long term clinical benefit, but it gives us something we didn’t have: objective human data showing that advanced plasma filtration may be capable of reducing not only inflammatory and lipid burden but also some of the environmental pollutants circulating within us.
