Hope your week’s off to a solid start. If you need any surveys, beacon searches, or title processing this week, my team and I are on standby.

Here’s to a week of clear plots and zero disputes 😄

Today we remember Dr. Kenneth Kaunda – KK – Founding Father of Zambia. As land surveyors, we walk the ground he fought to unite._

_KK believed in “One Zambia, One Nation.” Our work mapping boundaries, roads, farms, and cities is literally the groundwork of that unity. Every beacon we set, every plan we draw, connects people to land and land to development – the Zambia KK envisioned._

_We survey with integrity, because a nation is only as strong as the ground it stands on. Happy Kenneth Kaunda Day._

KK will always be a symbol of hope, unity and liberation for Zambia and Africa. His selfless dedication to independence and his people will be forever remembered.
Happy KK Day!

What causes more arguments on a job site?

[ ] Old records
[ ] Missing monuments
[ ] Bad assumptions
[ ] GPS misunderstandings

SURVEY TIPS: TURN YOUR SKILL INTO A LIFETIME ASSET 💼

1️⃣ Invest in Your Knowledge Daily
Surveying is evolving. From GNSS to GIS and drone mapping—stay updated or get left behind.

2️⃣ Your Instruments Don’t Define You — Your Skill Does
Anyone can hold a Total Station, but not everyone can deliver accurate, reliable results.

3️⃣ Understand the “Why,” Not Just the “How”
Don’t just follow procedures—understand the principles behind every measurement and calculation.

4️⃣ Build Value Beyond Fieldwork
Learn data processing, mapping software, and report writing. The real money is often in interpretation.

5️⃣ Accuracy is Your Reputation
One careless error can damage trust. Always check, recheck, and validate your work.

6️⃣ Network Within the Industry
Opportunities often come from relationships—connect with engineers, architects, and fellow surveyors.

7️⃣ Think Like a Problem Solver
Clients don’t just need measurements—they need solutions to land and boundary issues.

8️⃣ Don’t Wait for Jobs — Position Yourself for Them
Show your work, share knowledge, and let people know what you can do.

Final Thought:
Surveying is more than a profession—it’s a skill that can sustain you for life if you treat it like an asset.

Today we join the nation in celebrating *Labour Day* – honoring every Zambian worker whose skill and effort move our country forward.

As land and engineering surveyors, we see the value of labour every day: the bricklayer following our set-out, the farmer expanding with our beacon, the engineer trusting our levels for roads and bridges. *Before any structure rises, a surveyor measures.* Before any title is secure, a surveyor confirms.

To our clients – developers, contractors, farmers, homeowners – thank you for the work you do. We’re proud to provide the accurate data that lets your labour count.

Wishing you a restful Labour Day. Our team is back tomorrow to keep Zambia building.

*One Zambia, One Nation. One Accurate Survey at a Time.* 🇿🇲

Happy Labour Day to the Real Builders of Zambia!

Roads don’t level themselves. Plots don’t beacon themselves. Foundations don’t set themselves out.

Behind every project is a worker, and behind every worker is *accurate survey data*.

To all our clients in construction, agriculture, and property – we salute your labour. Thank you for trusting us to measure your vision.

This month we’ve set pegs for family homes, shot levels for roads, and laid out coordinates for developers. Thank you for letting us be part of Zambia’s growth.

May brings new sites, new designs, and new challenges. If there’s any survey – land or engineering – you need closed off in April, let’s make it happen today.

We measure it right, so you can build it right.
