🚨 Promoting Peace, Protecting Our Future 🕊️🇿🇲

Yesterday, Young Development Health Focus (YDHF), in partnership with Activista Chipata and the Zambia Police Service, successfully conducted a peace roadshow across Chipata District, reaching communities at Navutika Market, Mchini, and Saturday Market in Eastern Province.

The initiative aimed to promote peaceful participation during the electoral period and raise awareness about the dangers of political violence. Community members, particularly young people, were encouraged to reject being used as tools of violence and instead become champions of peace, unity, and responsible citizenship.

Peace starts with each one of us. Parents, guardians, and community leaders play a critical role in teaching and promoting peaceful values among children and young people. As the campaign period comes to an end, let us remember that elections are temporary, but our unity as a nation is permanent.

Together, let us choose dialogue over violence, respect over hostility, and unity over division.
