I’ve already harvested a few petals for future botanical experiments, while leaving plenty of flowers for the insects and the lovely green Marico Sunbirds to continue feasting on their nectar.

Welcome to Solveld Botanicals.

Pronounced "soul-felt."

The name was inspired by the sunny bushveld landscapes of Limpopo, and by the belief that the things we create should be made with care, intention, and respect for the natural world and the creatures we share it with.

To me, Solveld also speaks to the joy of feeling authentically connected to the places we call home.

Through many years of exploring more natural and sustainable ways of living, and making my own gentle products for sensitive skin, I felt inspired to create simple, thoughtfully crafted skincare that embraces the cyclical rhythms of nature.

Every product is made in small batches, using botanical ingredients, traditional infusion methods, and a commitment to quality over quantity.

Rather than creating the same products year-round, I hope to offer seasonal botanical blends inspired by the plants, landscapes, and cycles of the bushveld.

Some of you may know me through Herb Spaza and goodcloth.love, where I've shared my passion for growing plants, plant-based textiles, botanical crafts, and exploring more natural ways of living.

Thank you for joining me at the beginning of this chapter.
