Imagine a girl who stopped rushing through her own life.
One morning, she wakes up in her prettiest pyjamas, while the rest of the world is still quiet. She doesn’t reach for her phone. Not yet. Instead, she opens the windows and lets the morning air fill the room.
She breathes.
Slowly, she makes her bed, taking her time with every little corner. There is nowhere she needs to rush to in this moment.
She sits with God for a while. She tells Him about her dreams, the things she’s worried about, the woman she’s becoming. And when she gets up, somehow, her heart feels a little lighter.
She makes herself something warm to drink and sits there for a moment, noticing how peaceful her home feels.
And she realises something.
The beautiful life she kept dreaming about wasn’t waiting for her somewhere in the future.
It was here.
In the open windows.
The quiet mornings.
The conversations with God.
The freshly made bed.
The ordinary little moments she finally stopped rushing past.
So she started treating them like they mattered.
And little by little, her ordinary life began to feel like the beautiful one she had always been waiting for. 🤍

SHE ROSE ANYWAY
Meet Aysha-the woman at the heart of The Glow Society X Amber’s 2026 Women’s Month campaign.
This Women’s Month, The Glow Society X Amber launched She Rose Anyway 2026-a campaign created to honour women who have walked through some of life’s hardest seasons and still found the courage to keep going.
Among the stories they received was one that made them stop.
It belonged to Aysha.
A MOTHER’S STORY
In 2018, Aysha’s three-year-old daughter began experiencing recurring health problems. After several hospital visits, what was initially believed to be viral infections and neck spasms became something far more devastating.
Aysha noticed bumps developing around her daughter’s neck. Further testing revealed that her little girl had a rare and aggressive form of cancer.
She fought bravely.
On 31 January 2019, at just three years old, Aysha’s daughter passed away.
It is the kind of loss no mother should ever have to experience-and one that changes a person forever.
But Aysha’s story did not end there.
Years later, she continues to carry her daughter’s memory while finding the courage to keep living, dreaming and moving forward.
She rose anyway.
“Sometimes rising is simply waking up the next morning.”
THE WOMAN BEHIND THE STORY
After being named the She Rose Anyway 2026 winner, Aysha joined The Glow Society X Amber for coffee-a chance to hear more about her journey and, most importantly, celebrate the woman behind the story.
She was presented with a beautifully curated hamper, created simply to spoil her, pour into her and make her feel special.
Aysha will also receive an opportunity through The Masterclass Mentor, designed to equip her with valuable tools for her future professional success.
An additional woman was selected to receive the same professional development opportunity.
Special acknowledgement goes to campaign sponsors Create with Len and The Masterclass Mentor, whose support helped make the experience possible.
MORE THAN A CAMPAIGN
She Rose Anyway was never simply about choosing a winner.
It was about the woman rebuilding after everything fell apart.
The woman carrying grief while still showing up for life.
The woman learning to dream again.
The woman who may not feel strong-but keeps going anyway.
Aysha’s daughter will forever remain part of her story. Moving forward does not mean forgetting. It simply means making room for grief and joy, remembrance and possibility, and the woman she is still becoming.
Aysha did not choose the chapter that changed her life. But she is still here to write what comes next.
AYSHA
SHE ROSE ANYWAY 2026 WINNER
Not because it didn’t hurt.
Not because it was easy.
But because somehow, through everything, she kept going.

🕊️❤️🩹 THE GLOW TIMES | How many of our children are silently struggling, and how many of us don’t know?
16-year-old learner found dead in Ilingelethu, Malmesbury.
The community of Ilingelethu is mourning the heartbreaking loss of a 16-year-old learner whose death is being treated as a suspected su***de. The young boy was reportedly a learner at Ilingelethu High School, and his passing has left his family, friends, classmates, teachers, and the wider community grieving.
Our deepest condolences go to everyone who knew and loved him. 🕊️
But as we mourn, we also have to ask ourselves a difficult question:
How many of our children are silently struggling, and how many of us don’t know?
Behind the school uniforms, the homework, the laughter in the corridors and the smiles on social media are young people navigating pressures that many adults may never see. Identity struggles. Bullying. Loneliness. Family challenges. Grief. Abuse. Peer pressure. Mental and emotional battles. The overwhelming pressure to fit in and figure out who they are in a world that can sometimes feel incredibly loud.
Sometimes, a child doesn’t need someone to “fix” them.
Sometimes, they need someone to notice them.
Someone to ask, “Are you really okay?”
Someone to teach them that their feelings are valid, that their voice matters, that asking for help is not weakness, and that their life has value.
This is exactly why The Glow Society by Lynn believes in investing in our young people.
Our vision for The Glow Foundation Programme for Identity, Self-Worth & Emotional Development is rooted in the belief that emotional support and self-worth education should not be something children only receive when there is already a crisis.
We need to reach them before the crisis.
We want to see structured, meaningful workshops brought into schools. We want to equip young people with tools to understand themselves, navigate their emotions, build confidence, recognise unhealthy relationships, understand their worth, and know where and how to seek help when they are struggling.
Through our Glow Ambassadors, our vision is to take these conversations directly into schools and create safe spaces where young people can be heard, supported and reminded:
You matter.
Your story matters.
Your feelings matter.
Your life matters.
We cannot bring back the young life that was lost in Ilingelethu. But we can allow this tragedy to remind us that prevention, early intervention and accessible support matter.
Our schools are not only places where children learn mathematics, science and languages. They are places where our next generation spends a significant part of their lives. Emotional well-being, identity and self-worth deserve a place in that environment too.
We believe our children deserve more than being taught how to pass exams.
They deserve to be taught how to navigate life.
The Glow Society by Lynn is committed to doing our part to help create a generation of young people who know their worth, understand their emotions, have the courage to ask for help, and know that they do not have to suffer in silence.
Because our children are our future.
And we cannot wait until we lose another young life to start asking what we could have done differently.
Let’s reach them.
Let’s listen to them.
Let’s see them.
Let’s support them.
Let’s protect them.
This is why The Glow Society exists.
This is why we are fighting for our next generation.
This is why we are bringing The Glow Foundation Programme into our schools & launching an online petition soon to get this programme integrated into the school system-and would love to have you sign & support it.
🩷 Our children deserve to know that there is always a reason to keep going.
If you or a young person you know is struggling emotionally or feeling unsafe, please reach out to a trusted adult, mental health professional, or local emergency support service. You do not have to carry it alone.

SHE ROSE ANYWAY: A CAMPAIGN BORN FROM REAL STORIES
By The Glow Times
The Glow Society by Lynn x Amber have come together for an inspiring campaign rooted in something deeply personal: the stories they carry and the journeys that shaped them.
She Rose Anyway was inspired by their own experiences with pain, heartbreak, loss, trauma, and the difficult seasons of life that tested them in ways they never expected.
But this campaign is about so much more than their stories.
It is about you.
It is about every woman who has walked through something that changed her. The woman who had to rebuild herself, find her strength, and keep moving forward-even when life gave her every reason not to.
Through this campaign, The Glow Society and Amber want to celebrate the women who chose to rise anyway. The women who are still healing, still becoming, still finding their way-and discovering that there is strength in simply choosing to keep going.
Because sometimes, rising doesn’t mean you have it all figured out.
Sometimes, it simply means you didn’t give up.
This Women’s Month, they want to celebrate YOU.
Keep an eye out on their platforms.
