The first 48 hours decide how long the rest of it lasts.

Nothing about a fresh install is finished the moment the client walks out the door. The bonds and adhesive are still setting, and what happens in the next two days matters more than most clients realize:

• No washing, steam or saunas — 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 disrupts a bond before it has fully set

A silk pillowcase and a loose, low braid at night cover most of what is left. None of this is complicated, but skipping it in the first two days is the fastest way to turn a fresh install into an early touch-up.

Booking this early is not overplanning. It is what keeps a color match, a texture match and a trial from all getting rushed into the same appointment two weeks before the wedding.

Stop asking what do you want done.

• Length only — more inches, nothing else about the head changes
• Fullness only — same length, more density throughout
• Color enhancement — a full or partial color shift layered on top of her natural hair
• All three — density and color move together, so the plan starts over

Budget and timeline belong in that same conversation. A method that needs monthly tightening is a different commitment than one she can remove herself between visits, and being upfront about which one she's actually signing up for heads off most of the "this isn't what I expected" conversations two months later.
