Raise your hand if you’ve been hearing about zinc oxide everywhere lately. 🙋🏾‍♀️

Well, it’s already in our moisturizer.

Combined with colloidal oats, calendula, panthenol, allantoin, and turmeric extract, it’s part of a formula designed to help support your skin barrier and keep your skin feeling hydrated and comfortable.

Face washing tips most people don’t know:

1. Hot water can dry out and irritate your skin. Use lukewarm water instead.
2. Don’t rush your cleanser. Massage it in for about 60 seconds.
3. Rinse well. Leftover cleanser can cause problems.
4. If you wear makeup or sunscreen, cleanse twice.
5. Always wash your hands before touching your face.
6. Pat your face dry. Don’t rub.
7. Use a clean towel.
8. If your skin feels tight after cleansing, your cleanser may be too harsh.
9. Never go to bed without washing your face.
10. Micellar water helps remove makeup, but it’s not a complete cleanser.
11. Be gentle around your eyes when removing makeup.
12. Don’t forget your hairline and jawline.
13. Take your time rinsing your face.
14. Your skin should feel clean and comfortable after cleansing—not tight or greasy.

Carnival is over, and for many people that means one thing…

🚨 Surprise breakouts.

A few days of extra sweets, greasy foods, less sleep, dehydration, and a disrupted routine can leave your skin looking very different than it did last week.

Whenever my skin starts breaking out, I don’t panic and start trying a bunch of new products.

I go back to a simple routine:

✨ Gentle cleansing
✨ Consistent moisturizing
✨ Targeted treatment products
✨ Plenty of water
✨ Patience and consistency

Most breakouts don’t need more products.
They need less confusion and more consistency.

Formulating skincare is truly a labor of love.

Every ingredient is chosen with intention. Every formula is created with a purpose. Every product represents hours of learning, experimenting, and making sure it delivers the results it promises.

As someone who struggled with my own skin, creating skincare isn’t just about making products, it’s about helping others feel confident in their skin and creating solutions I wish I had when I needed them most.

So when you support a small skincare brand, you’re supporting someone’s passion, dedication, and countless hours poured into every jar and bottle.

And for that, I’m grateful. 💛

🚨 Your skin might not be dry… it might be dehydrated.

And yes, there’s a BIG difference.

Dry skin lacks oil.
Dehydrated skin lacks water.

That’s why some people keep applying thicker and thicker creams but their skin still feels tight, dull, or uncomfortable.

Here’s the surprising part:

👉 You can have oily skin and still be dehydrated.

If your skin feels tight after cleansing, looks dull, or gets oily throughout the day, dehydration could be the real issue.

✨ Dry skin needs nourishing ingredients like oils, butters, and barrier-supporting moisturizers.

✨ Dehydrated skin needs hydration from ingredients like glycerin, aloe vera, and hyaluronic acid that help attract water to the skin.

The better you understand your skin, the better results you’ll get from your skincare routine.
