Weight loss is supposed to take time because we want to maintain muscle 💪!! Crash crash diets never work because:
1. They only work in the short term b/c you’re not establishing good habits
2. You’re losing muscle b/c the body is using any energy source - so it’s eating your muscle and fat- it becomes a vicious cycle (keep watching this series to understand why!)

I knew from the beginning I couldn't create a wellness space with everything for everyone.
Wellness means something different to every woman who walks through our doors. I used to think that "wellness" itself would be the thread that ties Alluvita together — the workouts, the spa, the wellness programming and medical offerings, all of it.
I was wrong.
Last Thursday night, we brought our ambassadors and partner members together. No agenda beyond getting to know each other and a couple of questions: what does wellness mean to you, and why did Alluvita resonate?
Almost every woman in the room said some version of the same thing.
Not the wellness services. Not the medical access or the private-pay model we built against everyone's advice.
Community. The feeling of belonging. A safe space to just be themselves. 💛
That's the thread. Not wellness alone — it's the people weaving it together.
Alluvita isn't trying to be one more wellness brand. We're building toward something bigger, our vision is to be the trusted name in health and wellness for women. Because we're not just offering services. We're building a community that meets you exactly where you are, and stays with you as you move toward where you want to be.
With a mission to provide accessible, affordable, and sustainable wellness practices for the long run.
I can't build that alone. I never could. But with the women in that room last Thursday, I think we're already building something special. ✨
