We envision a Commonwealth of authentic inclusion where racism and sexism no longer dictates the outcomes of women of color and our communities.

Massachusetts Women of Color Coalition is dedicated to eradicating the racial inequities among women of color created by structural, institutional, interpersonal, and internalized racism. We will address racial inequities through authentic inclusion in the areas of politics, education, economic empowerment, criminal justice and health and wellness. Our success will maximize the benefits and contributions for all aggrieved communities of color and the Commonwealth as a whole.

Healing can begin with knowing you do not have to carry everything alone. đź’ś

For Rosa Fernandez, MAWOCC's Health & Wellness Platform Coordinator, MAWOCC has created space to listen, connect, find her voice, and learn from women navigating many of the same experiences.

It has also been a reminder to care for the whole self, mind, body, and spirit, and to make room for balance, reflection, and healing.

That sense of connection is part of what MAWOCC is built to create for Women of Color.

A day to release, receive, restore, and reconnect. 💜🌿

MAWOCC’s 2026 Statewide Day of Holistic Healing & Wellness brought women together for a day filled with care, learning, movement, reflection, laughter, and community.

From meaningful conversations to moments of stillness and joy, the day was a reminder that making space for our well-being matters.

Thank you to everyone who shared this experience with us and helped create a space where women could pause, connect, and pour back into themselves.
